Quarter Marathon Sunday (individual)

entry into the world of long-distance running

run a breakneck 10 kilometers

10 km is a nice round number. For some it's a dream distance, for others it's an everyday training volume. It's the longest in track athletics and one of the most popular running distances in street competitions. It's a distance that anyone can complete, and a great entry into the universe of longer distances. A quarter marathon is only 500 meters longer, so we're sure it'll work. Is this your distance?

On the day of the event

It's always worth paying attention to the announcer! Some things may change or be modified on the day of the event and this is the only way we can inform you about them.

Meeting point

We will set up “Meeting Point” signs at the competition center, which are clearly visible from afar, so that competitors, relatives and fans can meet each other around them. If you are coming with a group or class, this is a safe spot where you can meet up even in the large crowd. Before you start, agree with your companions and chaperones on the exact meeting point after reaching the finish line.

Information

At each of our events you will meet a dedicated information team who will help you navigate not only the specific event. If you are interested in details of other BSI events, or would like to register for other running or walking distances this year, look for the BSI information tent near the Competition Center!

Lost children

They can provide information about children separated from their parents in the information tent. We ask you to contact them for help!

Etiquette

Arrive on time! – to avoid the stress of waiting in line at the competition center and changing rooms, to have time to meet up with friends you haven't seen in a while, or to meet new acquaintances and sports buddies.

During the event, do not block the entire width of the road. If you hear someone approaching, move aside as soon as possible and let them pass.

We ask that you keep the area of the competition center and the route, especially at the refreshment stations, clean! Use the waste containers provided and do not litter! Restoring the venue to its original condition is a very big task, thank you for helping us with this!
